All Acro classes taught by certified Acrobatic Arts Teachers Jill Ford, Kellie Draper and Tori Ladd. Classes of all levels and ages 3 and up. Exam/Competitive and Recreational classes offered.
Acro technique/Exam Classes - All classes follow the acrobatics arts syllabus and students are prepared to take their Exam. These exams take place in February 2023.
NON EXAM ACRO - All classes have a focus of strength,flexibility,skills and fitness..... no exam or competitive team required.
Competitive - Students will be placed on a team and learn a group routine to compete at 3-5 local competitions...we may decide to travel but will be decided as a group. Solos, duets and trios available upon request. Students wishing to be on the competitive teams or solos, duets must audition and be part of their large group. Ages 6 and up. This class is an extra 45 min class/week aside from their technique class. Solos/Duets/trios are done privately. Acrodance- great class for acro students who are not in competitive dance and want to increase flexibility and learn better body technique and awareness. This class will help with better grace, posture and technique for their acro skills and transitions. Mandatory for Acro Level 4+ as well as Competitive Acro students (unless you are taking dance at another studio). Ages 6 and up.
Mini Mites - Combination class of Acro, BATON ARTS and dance for ages 3-5yrs.

Meet your teachers.......
Jill was originally from Regina, Saskatchewan where she danced competitively in the areas of ballet, jazz, tap, acrobatics and baton twirling for 17 years. She went on to teaching dance, baton and acrobatics in her home city and has since moved to Edmonton, Alberta where she has opened her own studio specializing in Acrobatics, dance technique and Baton Twirling……Supernova Acro and Baton Club! She completed her bachelor of Education (k-5) at the University of Regina which has furthered her expertise as an acrobatic, baton and dance teacher. Jill has traveled the world as an athlete and now coach competing and coaching at International baton competitions. She is now committed to keeping young kids involved in the areas of the arts and sport. With 25 years of teaching experience Jill stands by pushing students and reaching personal bests in a positive atmosphere!
Jill's credentials include: Acrobatic Arts teachers Certification Course Conductor, Acrobatic Arts Examiner, Acrobatic Arts Certified Teacher M1,M2,M3, Alixa Flexibility certified teacher, Bachelor of Education, Canadian Dance Teachers Association Certified Teacher, Canadian Baton Twirling Association Level 2 Coach, Inductee of the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame.
Kellie comes to us with over 20 years of teaching experience! She has a diverse background of Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical and Musical Theatre training. Kellie has a passion for Acro and is a certified Acrobatics Arts instructor who assists her students in reaching their potential while successfully preparing them for examinations. Kellie is also certified with TADA hand balancing and Alixa Flexibility. Kellie continues her training throughout Canada and the US in order to provide her students with the most modern and up to date tools and techniques. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education, Kellie understands that all students learn in different ways and uses various tools and techniques to help her students be successful. Kellie holds a high standard for her students and works with each one individually to help them achieve their highest potential. Kellie loves watching her students grow both as dancers and individuals and believes there is nothing more satisfying than seeing her students succeed both on and off the stage.
